YouTube Rolls Out Copyright Match! | MUSIK !D TV NEWS
On July 12th, YouTube debuted their “Copyright Match” to address excessive plagiarism issues. The Copyright Match Tool is intended to shield YouTubers’ original content from unauthorized re-upload. Even though the Internet is rebellious, the original conetent is legally secured intellective property.
There are some conditions involved with this tool. First, you must install your video before everyone else. Then, the system will recognize the first one who uploads the video as the copyright holder. Although, it doesn’t mean that your video will be removed, it just means that you can’t use the tool to do so.
