Beyoncé and Jay-Z have released their joint album, Everything Is Love, as The Carters on June 16th. The album appeared as a Tidal-only exclusive, along with their “APESHIT” music video.
The Carters gave TIDAL a boost to their subscription numbers after the release of the album. According to AppAnnie’s U.S. iPhone revenue charts, Tidal went from #4 on Friday to #2 on Saturday in the company with other music apps and remained that mark through Monday. On June 6th, Billboard declared that the industry is ecstatic to cater Tidal, inspirited by the service’s $19.99 per month tier that can evolve into a growth opportunity once the general streaming subscriptions have achieved overload.
