Eventbrite Teams Up With IG! | MUSIK !D TV NEWS
On May 8th, it has been announced that Eventbrite and Instagram made a deal to incorporate ticketing to Instagram’s platform. Also, this includes new messaging privileges, booking restaurant reservations, and purchasing movie tickets.
“This an extension of that work and we’re excited because Instagram is a critical marketing channel for our clients and a place where fans spend a lot of time. We’re helping them turn browsing into ticket sales and work with Instagram to make the platform more actionable.” – Scott Van Brunt, Head Of Partnerships for Eventbrite
The companies came together to authorize Eventbrite’s event producers to include a “Get Tickets” button to their Instagram profile page. Fans who click on the button will see a list of concert/tour dates without departing from the app. This button will substitute the URL section that is placed in the biography of the profile page.
