Universal Music Group signed a licensing deal with Facebook last Thursday (Dec. 21). Universal permits its recorded tracks and publishing catalogs for video and other social encounters through Facebook, Instagram, and VR program Oculus.

Both of the companies are preparing to release new music-related materials to Facebook, along with Messenger. The corporations desire to assemble innovation so that they can create the next generation of music materials that can attract social consumers.
