On October 20th, RISE has been released. RISE is a program for developing musicians and elevate their platform’s promotional assets.

Troy Carter revealed that Spotify isn’t interested in owning copyrights and will not receive touring and merchandise profits from the artists. The RISE roster is mainly for indie and unsigned artists, but will open doors for major artists. Carter declared that RISE will support 16 upcoming artists yearly and include four new artists every few months.
