Universal Music Group released “Accelerator Network” to assist music-based startups worldwide. The company will be guiding approved digital music corporations and work with pioneering ‘accelerator’ businesses.
“By developing a robust network of accelerators, UMG will play a more central role in helping to support the next generation of entrepreneurs who are already hard at work to bring innovative ideas to market that will create exciting new experiences for artists and fans everywhere.” – Michael Nash, UMG’s Executive Vice President of Digital Strategy.
Universal Music Group declared that they’ll work with ten programs during the first year of releasing their accelerator programs. Starting with Plug and Play, LeanSquare, and NYC MediaLab.
