After the whole mayhem about SoundCloud closing down, it seems that they need more than $170 million, which is how much they have in their emergency stash. Alexander Ljung, former CEO of SoundCloud, suggested a sober forecast for advisability.
In July, it has been reported that 173 employees was let go and shut down offices across the world. SoundCloud Go has been unsuccessful due to low subscription count. German regulators believed that SoundCloud will be in a unfortunate position in finances until 2020.
